This is Kathleen Smith, niece of Septimus Drew, who lived at no.1 SB from 1950-1969. She inherited the house from her uncle.

These two photographs are from a study of the Kennet and Avon Canal published in 1971 by the City Architect and Planning Officer of the City of Bath. [With thanks to Neal Kerss] The first is a view looking towards Bathwick Hill, the second, looking towards the top lock.
